We ask the young people what would make their time in hospital easier. This helps us buy exactly what they need. 

What goes in our boxes?


​Before each of the big school holidays we contact the wards to find out what they need.

Members of staff at each ward work together with their young people to write a list of things that would make hospital brighter during the holidays. This makes every box we put together unique.

The items we buy help the young people to know that they haven't been forgotten. They bring the ward together for much-needed fun and laughter. They can also provide distractions, escapism and respite during difficult times. 

We believe it's these little things that make a difference.
